CAMP food

Food is one of the most important and challenging aspects of camp. We welcome campers from many different countries, and different palates, so cooking at camp is a work of art. We purchase all food locally to cook with the freshest possible ingredients and make sure our meals are well balanced with all the nutrients our campers need to reach high levels of energy so they can stay healthy and enjoy all camp activities to the fullest. Below a sample menu for your information. Please make sure to indicate food allergies and special food restrictions (if any) in the registration form.

STAFF & SAFETY

Safety is our #1 priority! All of our camp activities and excursions are carefully planned to prevent accidents and maximize the safety of all our campers and staff. We work hard to minimize risk without compromising the fun factor of all our camp activities so we can make camp the safest place for your children to learn new skills, improve those already learnt, and have the best summer of their lives.

Our staff members are carefully selected and trained to make sure our campers have the best summer of their lives in the safest way possible. Most of our staff ages range from 18 to 35 years, they are multicultural, multilingual, outgoing and fun, and they are all trained with First Aid & CPR and cleared a criminal background check. Many of them are previous campers who grew into CIT'S and then became our best staff members.

Our staff consist of camp counsellors (1 for every 10 campers), senior counsellors, coordinators, lifeguards, nurses, drivers, cooks, servers, housekeepers, administrative staff and the camp director who lives on campus during the summer to ensure we deliver the best summer camp with the highest standards possible.

a message from
our camp directors

We, Canadian Rockids, have a unique way of shaping personalities, making life-long impressions and promoting human values for our future world leaders. We truly believe that our adventures provide the fundamental skills needed to grow and shape a successful lifestyle.

Beyond the fun and fresh air, Canadian Rockids teaches kids about taking calculated risks and exploring their own boundaries, respecting nature, teamwork, cooperation, leadership and new ways of staying active and improving mental and physical well-being. We build our campers’ confidence throughout our camp activities, from learning life skills and new abilities, to creatively solving problems.

Thank you for allowing us to make such a positive and important impact on your child and your family. We look forward to welcoming your child to our awesome adventures!

Sincerely yours,

Nat & Memo
